How The Econoburn™ Achieves 90% Efficiency
In a typical wood burning boiler a large amount of combustible gas is released after the initial burning of the wood fuel. This gas accounts for nearly 50% of the energy in the wood. Due to inefficient combustion, a conventional wood boiler fails to caput this wasted energy.In a typical wood burning boiler this waste is lost up the flue causes creosote and excess air pollution. The Econoburn Gasification Process Explained
As the wood is burned in the firebox, fresh air is blown downwards through the logs and coals. As this hot smoke and air mixture is forced into the combustion chamber, it is mixed with a second jet of super-heated air. This results in a torch like combustion of the retained gases. Extreme temperatures exceeding 1800 degrees burn these gases with little residual soot or creosote, and the extra energy extracted is transferred to the Econoburn's™ full jacket heat exchanger.
This extraordinary process allows Econoburn™ boilers to achieve overall thermal efficiencies of nearly 90%! What this means for everyone using the Econoburn™ is more heat from less wood, significant fuel bill savings, and minimal environmental impact.

Thermal Storage Tank Option
Thermal storage tanks maximize the heating benefits of your Econoburn™ or other name brand boiler. Thermal storage tanks allow storage of excess energy from the boiler that is not immediately needed to heat your home. This reserve thermal energy may then be used later to heat your home.
These highly efficient tanks are well insulated and virtually maintenance free. Sizes range from 500 to 1500 gallons. Contact Greg to match a storage tank to your new or existing system.

All Econoburn™ Boilers are built in an ISO 9001-2000 facility to exact standards, with ASME certified welders. EPA Phase 1 approved units ranging from 100,000 btu up to 1,000,000. Download the manual.

In fact, we are so confident in our boiler that we provide a comprehensive 25-year warranty to protect your peace of mind. The warranty covers the pressure vessel for 25 years against defects in material and workmanship and all other boiler parts for a period of 5 years! Simply operate your boiler in accordance with the Installation and Operating Manual and you are covered. We even offer a simple transfer process should you sell your home.
