Features   Advantages Certification

Aqua-Therm’s PEX-AL-PEX is manufactured with a welded aluminum layer positioned between two layers of PEX. The pipe is 100% oxygen tight, promoting longer life for pumps and all ferrous components.

No outer wxygen barrier (EVOH) – e.iminates worries about abrasion, scuffing and delanination

Aqua-Therm’s PEX-AL-PEX is manufactured under a quality system which meets the requirements of ISO 9001/2000 accreditation.

Advanced technology for long life and peace of mind

Aqua-Therm’s PEX-AL-PEX is easy to install. The pipe can be laid out by hand..stays where it’s put..no springing back!

High durability – rated for 200° F @ 100 psi

Aqua-Therm’s PEX-AL-PEX is rated for 200° F @ 100 psi

Aqua-Therm’s PEX-AL-PEX is designed as the universal solution for both radiant (under floor heating) and potable (drinking water) applications.

Resistant to corrosion, scaling and pitting

Aqua-Therm’s PEX-AL-PEX has been develops, tested and approved for hot and cold water potable service, central and under-floor heating systems and is approved to:

Flexibility of plastic pipe with the durability and structural integrity of metal pipe

Aqua-Therm’s PEX-AL-PEX offers quality fitting system choices for both radiant and potable applications.

Aluminum layer allows for    easy bending and will retain the desire shape

  Benefits of PEX-AL-PEX Tubing

Easy Handling - Stays where you put it. (Doesn't spring back.).

Simple Installation - Can be rolled out by hand without using special tools.

Flexible - Bends easily eliminating need for elbows.

Labor Saving - Using PEX-AL-PEX tubing requires less labor. Lays downs, stays down.

Can be located with a Metal Detector - When remodeling, adding walls or bolting down equipment, it's a must to be able to find the tubing.

Minimum Heat Expansion and Contraction - Similar to copper tubing.

Greater Heat Transfer Aluminum is a better conductor than plastic.

100% Oxygen Tight - No oxygen permeation into the heating system.

Corrosion Free - Will not be affected by oil, etc. spilled on shop floors.

Higher Pressure and Temperature Ratings - Rated at 100 psi and 200 degrees Fahrenheit.

Higher U.V. Resistance - Because Aqua-Therm uses carbon black as their U.V. stabilizer, we warrant Aqua-Therm PEX-AL-PEX for 60 days vs the normal 30 days compared to all others. Allows for ample installation time.
